Richard aka Shag has only been gone a short time, but without him life will never be the same we only met up when home on leave; but when we did he would show his brother Ryan how to drink as I don’t any more. The last time we were together was just before he left for Afghanistan we spent a fortune on drink and for that my two boys had to carry me home, what a laugh we had well what I could remember anyway. to Richards family. sadly i never met Richard, but i knew of him. well his was a regemental charater. the turn out at Brize was impressive and i think that speaks volumes about your son and David alike. the Regement is a unique family, the day Richard joined the regement you also became part of our family. The fact that someone has created this Memorial page to my Son Richard is helping in so many ways with the grief, it's like he has left a lifetime of memories for me to catch up on until we meet again where he will test me on what I know about his life. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
